Ingredients
  

  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 oz smoked salmon sugar-free, carnivore-friendly
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter or tallow for greasing
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  • Prepare the egg mixture: Whisk the eggs in a bowl with a pinch of salt until well combined.
  • Grease the skillet: Lightly grease a small oven-safe skillet (or air fryer-safe dish) with clarified butter or tallow.
  • Cook the omelet base: Pour the egg mixture into the greased skillet and place it in the air fryer. Cook for about 6-7 minutes or until the eggs are mostly set.
  • Add smoked salmon: Once the eggs are nearly cooked, lay the smoked salmon over one half of the omelet.
  • Finish cooking: Fold the omelet in half over the smoked salmon and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set.
  • Serve: Slide the omelet onto a plate and serve hot.

Notes

  • Cheesy Smoked Salmon Omelet: Add a sprinkle of shredded cheese before folding the omelet.
