  • 1 large egg
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese about 3 ounces
  • ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese about ¾ ounce
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Sauce of choice about ½ cup
  • Shredded cheese of choice about 1 cup/4 ounces
  • Pepperoni slices crumbled cooked Italian sausage, or other meat toppings of choice (2 to 4 ounces)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Combine all the crust ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until evenly mixed and smooth.
  • Spread the crust mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a circle or rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  • Bake the crust for 25 minutes, or until lightly browned and firm to the touch.
  • Remove the crust from the oven. Top it with your favorite sauce, shredded cheese, and meat toppings. Return the meatza to the oven and bake for an additional 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
