Ingredients
  

  • 3 large ripe avocados pitted and peeled
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • ½ medium white onion diced
  • ½ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro about ½ bunch
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin or to taste

Spicy Variation:

  • Add ¼ cup seeded and diced jalapeños fresh or canned

Instructions
 

  • Mash the Avocados: Place the avocados in a medium bowl. Use a potato masher or fork to mash them to your desired chunky consistency.
  • Mix Ingredients: Fold in the diced tomato, onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, pepper, and cumin. Stir until evenly combined.
  • Season to Taste: Adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or cumin, if needed.
  • Serve: Transfer to a serving bowl and serve immediately with tortilla chips, as a topping, or as a side dish.

Notes

To store leftovers, cover the guacamole directly with plastic wrap to minimize air exposure and prevent browning. Best served fresh the same day.
