The Mandarin Duck is one of the most colorful birds in the world, known for its bright plumage. The males have vibrant orange, purple, blue, and green feathers, while females are more brownish and subtle in color.

Native to East Asia, they live around ponds, lakes, and rivers. These ducks stand out due to their vivid patterns that make them look almost like a painting.

Known as the “Asian Unicorn,” the Soala is one of the rarest animals in the world, and was only discovered in 1992. Found in the Annamite Mountains between Vietnam and Laos, this large mammal looks like a cross between an antelope and a cow, with long, straight horns and a sleek body.

It is very elusive, and scientists know very little about its habits or behavior because it is so rarely seen.

The Saiga Antelope features a large, bulbous nose, which looks almost like something out of a sci-fi movie. This strange nose helps filter dust and cool the air they breathe in hot climates.

They live in the grasslands and semi-deserts of Central Asia, including Kazakhstan and Mongolia. Sadly, they are critically endangered due to habitat loss and poaching.

This tiny rodent looks like a mix between a mouse and a kangaroo, with huge ears that are longer than its head! The Long-eared Jerboa hops like a kangaroo and lives in the deserts of Mongolia and China.

This is a type of crocodile with an extremely long, thin snout filled with sharp teeth, making it look like a creature from another era. Native to rivers in India and Nepal, this fish-eating reptile is critically endangered.

Unlike most crocodiles, Gharials are not dangerous to humans. They spend most of their time in the water, using their unique snouts to catch fish.
