Equipment

  • 1 Blender or food processor
  • 1 Silicone treat molds or ice cube trays or mini-muffin pan
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped seedless watermelon
  • 15 tbsps plain, unsweetened yogurt without Xylitol (just under 1 cup )

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor, puree the watermelon chunks until you have a smooth consistency.
  • Spoon 1 tablespoon of yogurt into each individual cell of your ice cube tray or popsicle mold.
  • Pour the pureed watermelon into each cell, filling them almost to the top.
  • Place the tray in the freezer and freeze until the pupsicles are completely solid, which typically takes around 4 hours.
  • Gently pop the pupsicles out of the mold. For easier removal, briefly run the tray under warm water. Transfer the pupsicles to an airtight container or freezer bag and store them in the freezer until you're ready to serve them.

Notes

This recipe requires plain, unsweetened yogurt. It's recommended to AVOID yogurt containing Xylitol, as it's highly toxic to dogs and can have fatal consequences.
