  • 1 lb ground venison
  • 2 tbsp tallow or clarified butter for greasing
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp ground black pepper flexible carnivore only

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Prepare the meatball mixture: In a bowl, combine ground venison, egg, and salt. (Add black pepper if using the flexible carnivore version.) Mix until fully combined.
  • Form the meatballs: Roll mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • Grease the air fryer basket: Use tallow or clarified butter to lightly coat the basket.
  • Cook the meatballs: Arrange them in a single layer without touching. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway. Internal temp should reach 160°F.
  • Serve: Let meatballs cool slightly before serving hot.

  • Drizzle cooked meatballs with melted garlic butter after air frying.
