Ingredients
  

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup clarified butter or tallow
  • 4 strips of bacon cooked and crumbled
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 300°F.
  • Prepare the custard mixture: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, clarified butter, and salt (plus any cheese or garlic if using a variation) until smooth.
  • Pour into ramekins: Lightly grease two small ramekins and divide the custard mixture evenly.
  • Cook in the air fryer: Place ramekins in the air fryer basket and cook for 12–15 minutes, or until the custard is set but slightly soft in the center.
  • Cook the bacon: While the custard is cooking, crisp the bacon in a pan or air fryer, then crumble into small pieces.
  • Top the custard: Remove ramekins and top each with bacon crumble.
