No-Bake Bourbon Pecan Balls

These no-bake bourbon pecan balls are a sophisticated twist on classic rum balls, perfect for holiday entertaining or gifting. The combination of crushed vanilla wafers, pecans, and bourbon creates an indulgent, grown-up treat with just the right amount of sweetness and warmth.

Ingredients
  

  • cups vanilla wafers finely crushed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup pecans finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup bourbon
  • 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • Additional powdered sugar for coating

Instructions
 

  • Combine the crushed vanilla wafers, powdered sugar, chopped pecans, and cocoa powder in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the bourbon and corn syrup to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly until the mixture holds together when pressed.
  • Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls using your hands or a small cookie scoop.
  • Roll each ball in additional powdered sugar until completely coated.
  • Place the finished balls in an airtight container, separating layers with wax paper.
  • Let the balls rest for at least 24 hours before serving to allow the flavors to develop fully.

Notes

For a stronger bourbon flavor, add an extra tablespoon to the mixture. For alcohol-free version, substitute bourbon with vanilla extract.
