Lychee & Ginger Beer Cooler Cocktail Recipe

This refreshing cocktail blends the exotic sweetness of lychee with the warm spice of fresh ginger and basil.
Finished with a crisp pale beer, it’s a perfect balance of fruity, herbal, and effervescent flavors.

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 slices fresh ginger
  • 2-3 fresh basil leaves
  • 3-4 fresh lychees peeled and pitted
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • ¼ cup water
  • 8 ounces cold pale beer
  • Garnish: Lime slice, basil sprig

Instructions
 

  • In a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle the ginger, basil, and one lychee to release their flavors.
  • Add water, simple syrup, and lemon juice, then fill the shaker with ice. Shake well until chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into a serving glass with the remaining lychees and some crushed basil.
  • Gently pour the pale beer over the mixture and stir lightly.
  • Garnish with a lime slice and a basil sprig before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger ginger flavor, let the mixture infuse for a few minutes before straining.
  • Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of simple syrup.
  • Try substituting pale beer with ginger beer for a non-alcoholic version.
