Instructions
In a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle the ginger, basil, and one lychee to release their flavors.
Add water, simple syrup, and lemon juice, then fill the shaker with ice. Shake well until chilled.
Strain the mixture into a serving glass with the remaining lychees and some crushed basil.
Gently pour the pale beer over the mixture and stir lightly.
Garnish with a lime slice and a basil sprig before serving.
Notes
For a stronger ginger flavor, let the mixture infuse for a few minutes before straining.
Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of simple syrup.
Try substituting pale beer with ginger beer for a non-alcoholic version.
