Ingredients

Apple Filling

  • 5 Granny Smith apples cored, peeled, and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons caramel syrup plus extra for topping
  • ½ cup water

Crumble Topping

  • 4 tablespoons (½ stick) salted butter, melted
  • cup light brown sugar
  • ¾ cup old-fashioned oats not instant
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

For Serving

  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Extra caramel syrup optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the Apple Base: Add the cubed apples to the Instant Pot. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over the apples, then pour in the maple syrup, caramel syrup, and water. Stir to coat the apples evenly.
  • Make the Crumble Topping: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, oats, flour, and sea salt until combined. Evenly distribute the crumble mixture over the apple filling in the pot.
  • Cook the Cobbler: Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and ensure the valve is set to the sealing position. Select Manual or Pressure Cook on High Pressure for 2 minutes. Once the cooking cycle is complete, allow a full natural release (20-30 minutes).
  • Serve and Enjoy: Open the lid, scoop the cobbler into bowls, and serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Drizzle extra caramel syrup on top if desired.

Notes

Instant Pot Size: This recipe is ideal for a 6-quart Instant Pot. If using an 8-quart model, double the ingredients to ensure proper pressure cooking.
Extra Crunchy Topping: Love more crumble? Double the butter, oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt for an extra thick topping.
Crispy Finish (Optional): If using an Instant Pot Duo Crisp, place the crisping lid on and air fry at 400°F for 5 minutes to add a golden, crispy layer before serving.
