  • 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the blended mixture into a small saucepan.
  • Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until hot but not boiling.
  • Pour into a mug, garnish with cinnamon if desired, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • For a thicker texture, use full-fat cottage cheese.
  • Almond milk keeps it dairy-light, but feel free to substitute oat, soy, or dairy milk.
  • Sweeten to taste – maple syrup adds depth while honey brings floral notes.
  • Add a few dark chocolate chips before blending for a richer cocoa hit.
