Ingredients
  

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 can 3.75 oz sardines in water or oil (drained)
  • 2 tbsp tallow or clarified butter for greasing
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  • Prepare the egg mixture: Whisk eggs in a bowl and add a pinch of salt.
  • Prepare the sardines: Break them into small pieces and set aside.
  • Grease the skillet: Lightly grease a small oven-safe skillet or air fryer-safe dish with tallow or clarified butter.
  • Cook the frittata: Pour the egg mixture into the greased skillet. Evenly distribute the sardine pieces on top. Place the skillet in the air fryer and cook for 8–10 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set and the frittata is golden.
  • Serve: Slice the frittata and serve hot.
