  • 2 cups stemmed and roughly chopped curly or lacinato (dinosaur) kale about 2 stems curly or 4 stems lacinato
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk with extra as needed
  • 1 medium banana about 8 ounces, sliced and frozen (about a generous ½ cup sliced)
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
  • Ice optional

Instructions
 

  • Add the ingredients to your blender in this order: kale, almond milk, banana, pineapple, and peanut butter.
  • Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
  • For a thicker consistency, toss in a few ice cubes before blending.
  • If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, pour in a little more almond milk and blend briefly again.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy right away for the best taste and texture.
