Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups finely diced fresh fruit such as mango, cantaloupe, or pineapple
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion white, red, or green onions
  • 1 jalapeño seeded and finely diced
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice from 1-2 limes
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • Recommended Combinations:
  • Cantaloupe and Cucumber Salsa: Cantaloupe, cucumber, and red onion.
  • Strawberry Salsa: Strawberries with white onion.
  • Nectarine Salsa: Nectarines with green onion.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the finely diced fruit, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and kosher salt.
  • Mix and Adjust: Stir everything together until well blended. Taste and adjust lime juice or salt as needed.
  • Serve: Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

Notes

Best Fruits to Use: Mango, pineapple, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, plums, oranges, tangerines, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, kiwi, cucumber, cherries, and watermelon work beautifully.
Fruits to Avoid: Avoid apples and pears as they discolor, and bananas or raspberries, which can become mushy.
Storage: Keep in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge.
