  • 8 fresh sardine filets
  • 2 tbsp tallow or clarified butter melted
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  • Season the sardine filets: Lightly brush the sardines with melted tallow or clarified butter and sprinkle with salt.
  • Cook the sardine filets: Arrange them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden.
  • Serve: Remove from the air fryer and serve hot with any remaining melted tallow drizzled on top.
