  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
  • Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • Season the fillets with lemon pepper and dried dill weed, or skip this step for the strict carnivore version.
  • Place the seasoned cod over the lemon slices in the casserole dish.
  • Drizzle the garlic butter mixture evenly over the fish.
  • Bake for 17-20 minutes, or until the cod flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
