Ingredients
  

  • ½ lb ground beef 80% lean
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper optional for flexible carnivore
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder optional for flexible carnivore
  • 1 tbsp tallow or clarified butter for greasing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  • Prepare the sausage mixture: In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and optional black pepper and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Form the patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into small patties, about ½ inch thick.
  • Grease the air fryer basket: Lightly grease the basket with tallow or clarified butter to prevent sticking.
  • Cook the patties: Place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  • Serve: Remove from the air fryer and serve hot.
