This festive twist on a classic margarita combines smooth tequila with bright cranberry juice and citrus notes, creating the perfect holiday cocktail. Ingredients
  

  • 2 ounces tequila blanco or reposado
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce cranberry juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish
  • Lime wedge for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Coarse salt or sugar for rimming
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Begin by preparing your glass. Run a lime wedge around the rim and dip in coarse salt or sugar.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, cranberry juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice.
  • Strain the mixture into the glass.
  • Garnish with fresh cranberries, a lime wedge, and mint sprig.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

For a mocktail version, substitute the tequila and triple sec with additional cranberry juice and a splash of orange juice, adjusting the simple syrup to taste.
