Instructions
Adjust oven rack to 6 inches from broiler element and heat broiler. In a large bowl, combine lemon juice, sugar, and salt. Toss peaches in the mixture to coat evenly.
Place peaches cut side up in a 12-inch oven-safe skillet. Pour any remaining sugar mixture into the peach cavities. Add water around the peaches in the skillet. Broil for 11 to 15 minutes until they begin to brown.
In a bowl, microwave honey and butter until melted (about 30 seconds), then stir to combine. Using an oven mitt, remove the skillet from the oven and brush half of the honey mixture over the peaches. Return skillet to the oven and broil for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until peaches are spotty brown.
Remove skillet from oven and brush peaches with the remaining honey mixture. Transfer peaches to a serving platter, leaving the juices behind in the skillet. Simmer the accumulated juices over medium heat for about 1 minute until syrupy. Drizzle syrup over the peaches, sprinkle with hazelnuts, and serve.
