Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 lb beef liver sliced into thin strips
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 tbsp tallow or clarified butter for greasing
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Prepare the bacon: Lay the bacon slices in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 5–6 minutes until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • Prepare the liver: While bacon cooks, season liver strips with salt.
  • Grease the air fryer basket: Use tallow or clarified butter to lightly coat the basket.
  • Cook the liver: Arrange strips in a single layer. Air fry for 4–5 minutes, or until browned and fully cooked (internal temp 160°F).
  • Serve: Crumble crispy bacon over the cooked liver and enjoy hot.

Notes

Variations (Flexible Carnivore Diet):

Garlic Butter Liver:
  • Drizzle the cooked liver with melted garlic butter before serving.
Spicy Bacon-Liver Combo:
  • Sprinkle cayenne or smoked paprika on the liver before cooking.
Cheesy Liver:
  • Add grated Parmesan to the liver in the last minute of cooking.
