This Absinthe Suisse cocktail blends the herbal intensity of absinthe with the creamy richness of heavy cream and the smooth sweetness of orgeat syrup.
A touch of rose water and lemon juice balance the flavors, while a foamy egg white finish and a splash of club soda create a refreshing, elegant drink.

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • strainer
  • Jigger (for measuring)
  • Coupe or Collins glass

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ounce absinthe liqueur
  • ½ ounce crème de menthe
  • ¼ ounce white tequila
  • ¼ ounce pastis liqueur
  • ¾ ounce heavy cream
  • ¾ ounce orgeat syrup
  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • 6 –8 drops rose water
  • 1 egg white
  • Chilled club soda to top
  • Garnish: Mint sprig

Instructions
 

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine all the ingredients except for the club soda. Shake vigorously without ice until the mixture is well combined.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake again until thoroughly chilled.
  • Strain the drink into a glass and let it sit for a moment, allowing the egg white foam to rise to the surface.
  • Gently top with chilled club soda, garnish with a mint sprig, and serve immediately.
