Ingredients

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 cup mashed starch of choice banana, pumpkin, or sweet potato
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup smooth nut butter peanut butter, almond butter, or cashew butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8×4-inch loaf pan with foil and lightly grease it.
  • Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until the batter is smooth and evenly mixed.
  • Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • These brownies have a subtle sweetness; if you prefer a sweeter treat, drizzle melted chocolate or add a light frosting on top rather than mixing sweeteners into the batter.
  • If you're not a fan of banana, you can substitute pumpkin or sweet potato for a slightly different texture and flavor.
  • Want a stronger chocolate flavor? Increase the cocoa powder slightly and blend longer for even distribution.
  • No blender? Mix by hand, though expect the batter to have a few small lumps.
